UNCAC Review of 2nd cycle for Cambodia
Cambodia became the state party to UNCAC on October 5, 2007. UNCAC implementation review was established in November 2009 in the conference of state parties which is a forum to provide dialogues at the international levels and the participation of all state parties to share experiences and knowledge for other members as well as to provide opportunity for technical assistance. As a state party to UNCAC Cambodia has an international obligation to take part in UNCAC review for cycle I which was already completed under the facilitation of UNODC that Cambodia had been reviewed Myanmar and Togo (2013-2015) and conducted review to 3 countries including Malta (2012-2014), Saudi Arabia (2013-2014). In 2018-2019 Cambodia will approach its 2nd cycle of UNCAC Review for Chapter II (Prevention) and Chapter V (Money Laundering and Assets Recovery) that Cambodia will be reviewed by Thailand and Eswatini and Cambodia will review Kiribati. In relation to the readiness for UNCAC review process of 2nd cycle; Cambodia is preparing the draft self-assessment check list report and conducted seminar to collect inputs from relevant institutions for submitting to the Council of Ministers for approval before sending to UNODC and the above states who will review Cambodia.

Parties of ASEAN against corruption (SEA-PAC)
Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) represents the Kingdom of Cambodia joined South East Asia Parties against Corruption or abbreviated “SEA-PAC” through signature of SEA-PAC MoU in 2007. ACU took part actively in SEA-PAC through bilateral and multilateral cooperation with all SEA-PAC members and through the regular meetings of 2 times per year which are Meeting of SEA-PAC Secretariat and Annual Principals Meeting. At present SEA-PAC has 10 members including all ASEAN countries and in 2017 SEA-PAC has become an entity associated with ASEAN.
