Date and Venue

The Eleventh Meeting of parties to the Memorandum of Understanding on Preventing and Combating Corruption (SEA-PAC) will be convened on 1-3 December 2015 in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam. The tentative program is attached as Annex I.
The Meeting will be convened at Songket Hall 2, Level 4, Rizqun International Hotel.

Registration

All participants are requested to submit their completed registration forms, including the brief questionnaire, as attached herewith and submit the completed Registration Forms and hotel reservation forms provided by email to  norashiken.salleh@acb.gov.bn / norutama.hassan@acb.gov.bn / hasrina.jamil@acb.gov.bn or by facsimile to (+673) 2382774 before 10 November 2015.

Meeting documents, IDs and other materials will be provided upon registration.

Dress Code

The recommended attire for the meeting will be business attire.

The recommended attire for the official dinner will be smart casual.

Transportation

The Rizqun International Hotel is located approximately 20km from Brunei Darussalam International Airport. The travel takes about 10-15 minutes by car. A SEA-PAC Information Desk will be stationed at the Brunei International Airport arrival lounge during the arrival period of participants (subject to changes).

Transportation will be provided throughout the meeting for participants. Kindly inform the Secretariat of your itineraries in advance.

Accommodation

Participants are requested to make their own reservation directly with the hotel of their choice.

Cost of Participation

As previous SEA-PAC meeting practice, the host will cover the organizational cost of the meeting facilities. Other cost of participation will be borne by the participants.

Weather information

Brunei Darussalam is generally hot and humid throughout most of the year. In December, temperatures in average around 29-35º Celsius.

Electricity

Electrical sockets (outlets) in Brunei Darussalam are “Type G” British BS-1363 type and supply electricity at between 220 and 240 volts AC.

Time

Local time in Brunei Darussalam is eight hours ahead of GMT.

Currency

The local currency is BND. Participants can change currency at the Brunei Darussalam International Airport, the Rizqun International Hotel, the Gadong Mall or banks. The current exchange rate is approximately USD1 = BND/SGD 1.34634
